FECIF delegation visits Reichstag and mets Germany's ruling party MP

Over two days, the FECIF Board convened in Berlin 🇩🇪 for its regular meeting, generously hosted by its member association AfW.

As part of the programme, the joint FECIF–AfW delegation visited the Reichstag. A particular highlight was the exchange with Dr. Carsten Brodesser, pension expert of the ruling CDU Deutschlands party in the Bundestag. The discussion on the contrasting frameworks of statutory and private pension provision across Europe proved both stimulating and insightful, underscoring FECIF’s continued role in shaping the debate on retirement policy.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of the Reichstag, offering participants a direct perspective on the workings of German and European politics.
