FECIF is pleased to announce that the National Association of Independent Financial Intermediaries of Hungary / Független Pénzügyi Közvetítők Országos Szövetsége (FPKOSZ) has joined the federation as a new member.

Founded in 2022, FPKOSZ represents independent financial intermediaries across Hungary and brings together leading market participants active in mortgage lending, consumer credit and retail financial services. Headquartered in Budapest, the association reflects a broad and representative view of the Hungarian intermediary market.

FPKOSZ is committed to strengthening the professional standing of financial intermediaries, promoting transparency and high standards, and placing client interests at the centre of advisory activity.

Its membership includes key market players serving hundreds of thousands of consumers each year, providing valuable insight into market developments, consumer behaviour and regulatory impacts.

By joining FECIF, FPKOSZ aims to contribute its experience at European level, engage with EU legislative developments and support the development of proportionate, consumer-oriented regulation.

At the same time, Tamás Bércesi, Secretary General of FPKOSZ, has been elected to the FECIF Board, further strengthening the representation of national associations within the federation.

FECIF Chairwoman Vania Franceschelli welcomed the appointment:

"Congratulations on your election to the Board. I am confident your contribution will help strengthen FECIF’s work and support its continued development."

FECIF looks forward to a close and constructive collaboration with FPKOSZ, contributing to a stronger and more coordinated voice for financial intermediaries across Europe.
